About Property Rights
The Property Rights scheme provides people with certainty regarding land ownership, guaranteeing what is owned, who owns it, where it is, ownership rights and how ownership can be transferred. The Property Rights group within LINZ is an operational team of approximately 200 people who are responsible for approving survey plans and titles dealings which are submitted by surveyors and conveyancers via the Landonline system.
In delivering this work, the Property Rights group is accountable to the Surveyor General and the Registrar General of Land for ensuring that transactions are approved according to regulations, rules and standards.
About you and your role
The Principal Advisor - Enablement role (known within LINZ as Principal Customer Regulatory Specialist) sits within the Enablement team in the Property Rights Group. The Enablement team supports the operations of Property Rights, in areas such as compliance, training and continuous improvement.
As the Principal Advisor – Enablement you will use your skills, knowledge, and judgement to improve operational outcomes, gain insights, and improve performance across systems. You will identify and lead key initiatives to enhance the customer experience for surveyors and conveyancers.
A key part of this role is to lead the implementation of the Survey and Title Compliance Strategy and develop a quality assurance framework to achieve identified outcomes. You will bring experience and a keen interest in utilising data and reporting to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improving performance.
Ideally you will have experience in the public service, operating within a regulatory environment, and will have an understanding of how operational teams work.
You will be solution focussed and skilled at leading through influence and fostering positive working relationships to get traction on initiatives, and of course stakeholder engagement and management will be your key to success.
You will have strategic thinking skills and the ability to make connections within and between work programmes across the function and wider organisation.

- Experience in implementing, maintaining and evolving quality and assurance approaches and frameworks at an enterprise and operational level.

The salary range for this role is: $135,000 up to $150,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
